Valley Restorations was started by Dale "Spike" Erickson. After returning from the war in 1971 Spike worked in a body shop in Three Lakes, WI until 1976. That same year Spike took a job working at Stan Johnson's Ford in Neenah, WI until 1978, when he decided to become the curator of the Helgeson Museum in Janesville, WI.
As curator, Spike was in charge of a collection of 600 classic cars. Unfortunately, the end of 1978 brought about the closing of the Helgeson Museum, and left Spike searching for a job, and in early 1979 he found one. Spike moved to Hortonville, WI and with his vast knowledge from doing body work and running the Helgeson Museum, he started Valley Restorations.
Since that day Valley Restorations has become an award winning restoration and collision repair shop. In Sept. of 2008 Spike was able to join the Motion Products, INC family and expand his business into a better position
